Look what you've done now

WHAT A BAD DAY THIS HAS BEEN though new boots and awesome Chinese food did remedy it some.   At like 8 AM a disabled person fell down an escalator and onto me, which was all sorts of jarring, and at that point I decided to FUCK THIS DAY and quit on any and all expectations of goodness.  Which sometimes is really the best thing you can do, cause otherwise you just pile up on frustrations until you snap.

Anyways.  Fic!   Amazing how sometime between HW and BC, Julian really learned how to hold his own against Galen XD

Series: Angels
Characters: Julian, Galen

The Sunday afternoon tea at the bookstore was calm, odd as that was for these brothers.  Julian looked dressed for Miami, Galen as if he'd rather go fix the Feather's pipes.  A  foamy latte, and sugarless black tea.  But between them was a stack of that single thing they did share well - magazines.

"They waste ad space with this shit," Galen eventually announced.  He didn't say what was though, and so Julian understood it to be one of his brother's awkward prompts for conversation.

He indulged. Julian spun the magazine towards him, glanced over the little paragraphs.  A horoscope.

"Maybe.  If it works, then you'd think signs would carry over through lives, since we're still the same personalities and all.  But, what, I was born in winter the first time.  Now I'm a Cancer."

"The Crab," Galen remembered.  "Though a brain tumor applies just as well to you."

To that, Julian smirked, leaned in so his elbow rest on the table.  "You know, you're pretty Virgo yourself."

The accused looked to the page, to find some clue.  But at the cost of his pride, Galen did ask, "What is a Virgo?"

"An uptight chick who needs to get laid."
