There are so many things I love about this set. I enjoyed them all, but a few stood out. Infra-red is just a beautiful piece - it captures that oppressive feeling of war very well. Jezebel is just beautiful: such a sensual and rich sort of narrative, full of utterly delicious turns of phrase. (That last line. Guh.) Happiness in Slavery reads like a bit of an old-fashioned and beautifully worked horror story, which you know I'm a sucker for. And I'm getting to where Deon both disgusts and intrigues me. I simultaneously want to punch him and follow him around.
