(Oh! I changed the room reservation so that we arrive on Thursday (better chance of getting on the same floor as Kol and Ren) and leave on Tuesday (so I don't have to change out of Rakushun in the loo of the Hilton after the photo shoot Monday afternoon then drive back to Vegas). I'll cover the added expense, since it's the rat what made me do it. XD)
That is so cool that your mom's done costuming! I'm picking the brains of the fursuit community for tips on Rakushun -- I have the head pretty well sorted in my mind, but I'm running up against figuring out a good way to do the body, which will have a dropped crotch. It will involve padding of some sort, I know that much. (So will the legs, but I have the engineering of those sorted.) I just don't want to swelter in it any more than I already will be. XD
Oh man, Taiki's ceremonial robe would be gorgeous! You know, I bet Charis has pics of it -- which reminds me, I need to poke her again about scans from the ref books she has for Rakushun pics. ^_^ Rishies is the source of all knowledge regarding 12K.
WE WILL BE AWESOME AND FABULOUS AT THE JUUNI KOKKI/12K GATHERING. I am so flippin' excited!
