Go back to this entry, it now contains HANKI FANART!
Also, after an effin long time I finally finished a new FST. Behold - Woman King: A Yoko FST.
ONLY TWO MORE DAYS OF WORK AND THEN I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
24. How willing are you to kill your characters if the plot so demands it? What's the most interesting way you've killed someone?
I'm willing to kill characters! I don't do it at random though - typically a character tells me if they are meant to exit a story the hard way. In novels, I typically know by about half-way in if a character is going to die or not, which gives me time to build in Meaningful Stuff and the appropriate character connections. For RP, I get the "imma gonna kill you" feeling even as I'm creating the character, though you have to keep an open mind about that sort of thing, since RP is variable by nature .
In a story for Kingdom, I once described a dead Hunter as having been slashed open by a daemon, and his skin from his navel up being ripped back and the flap thrown back like the cover of a sardine can. I can be sick when it suits me.
25. Do any of your characters have pets? Tell us about them.
HM. Warren owns a kennel, and is actually pretty intent on raising his dogs to be vicious killers (even the tiny poofy ones, go to him if you want a tea cup dog who can rip off a finger). Vay says he dislikes pets but secretly yearns for a kitten friend (lol). Deon dislikes animals and so does Val, but whereas most animals dislike Deon right back (MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH STATIC-SHOCKING THEIR FUR, DEON), they generally take to Val, and he's trying to be more tolerant of them. Rae would keep lizards, turtles, and birds if she could. I imagine that when Roimata plays music outdoors, a variety of woodland creatures surround him.
