I AM SO PROUD OF YOU FOR FINISHING THIS! It is a really fantastic look into both of them, and into how they'd relate to one another. And how Deon uses Schmoop for mind fucks, and how Mara's flustering is so aggressive and self-defensive, and how they just interact so *well* together because they know each other's low blows (Mara goes for attacking his masculinity, Deon brings up the backseat) yet their barbs are gentler, here-- not playful, but definitely lighter.
My favorite part is their scuffle ending with a kiss and how that's PRECISELY Mara's reaction to the entire thing.
The only issue I see is shrimp isn't kosher, but beef works just as well for the stories purpose. ^.^;;
