...See, this is why I love Kingdom so damn much. These characters consistently make me cry, as if they were real people I knew and cared about deeply. I think this is as good an end for Deon in this AU as could be hoped for. (I rather imagine Dusty and Tasha going out like Butch and Sundance, side by side, guns blazing, charging into an impossible situation with nothing at all left to lose...)
