Okay, so.
I have absolutely zero expectations when it comes to people giving me Christmas gifts. Really. Honestly.
But I do have wishes and dreams, much like everyone else. A lot of this is a dry-run for the list I'm going to send my family, but if you were thinking of getting me something, this is what's on my hot list:
- SOCKS. SOCKS. SOCKS. Sock Dreams is one of my fave websites, literately. It's been cold in my apartment lately, so I'm looking for knee-high thick cozy socks. I also love wool socks. AND TOE SOCKS. I have a favorite pair of rainbow toe socks that now is full of holes :< I'd also really love to have a pair of unique leg-warmers. OMG.
- Vanilla candles, or else purple candles. I have teal candles in my room that I really need to switch out.
- Mix-CDs! I be serious. I haven't had a lot of time to collect music lately, so I haven't had a lot of new stuff introduced into my library. So if you make a mix-CD for me, it will definitely get a lot of love and use this time of year. Lately I've been really digging female vocalists, R&B and club music, classical instrumental, and oddly enough, break-up music and sad love songs.
- I'm looking for copies of the Sailor Moon movies, actually. I don't expect the actual movies, since those bastards are like $100 now on sale, but I'd be more than pleased with a DVD copy or a put-together file of it. Sub definitely preferred.
- FIC AND ART. Selfishly I'd love to see more people working on the Schmoop Bingo boards. I'd also love sickly sweet holiday stories, or else a badass fighting story with emphasis on comradery. I've been very much in an AU mood lately too, so that'd be awesome.
- For gift cards, Game Stop or Target. Game Stop because I'm really hoping to buy Rock Band 3 for myself for Christmas. Target because, well, YOU CAN GET EVERYTHING AT TARGET.
Generally, my favorite smell is vanilla, and I really love 'baked goods' scents too, like pumpkin pie or vanilla cupcake or whatnot. For food, anything chocolate and crunchy is a winner, though be warned that I'm not a big fan of gingerbread or mint. Favorite color is purple, and I will never get sick of it. For fic and art, I would really love comedy this time of year, and anything that demonstrates the friendships and love between characters.
PLEASE SEND ME YOUR ADDRESSES SO I CAN SEND CHRISTMAS CARDS. PWEASE? Email, or you can message me through DW. If not, at some point I will certainly harass you over it on AIM. If you are my friend here on DW, then you are absolutely not excluded in on this holiday cheer.
