impersonaStressful few days, especially yesterday XD Ingrid and Kol helped me a lot last night, thank you very much <3333 An old meme helped pull me out a bit too (though I'm currently in bed, having come home from work early XD was getting dizzy there).
In this meme, you set your playlist to random (...or mostly random...), and you have to write a drabble for each song that comes up, writing within the amount of time it takes for that song to play (..........mostly). When I started I didn't think I'd actually be able to do more than one or two, but I got into it and finished all ten <3
Copying Kol, writing notes for each fic and also putting in the song <3333 I'm actually fairly pleased at the selection of songs I ended up with, actually.

You better come on in my kitchen, cause it's going to be raining outdoors
....obviously I went more by the song title than by the lyrics.
Also, every time I write pre-game Vay, it makes me hate myself for hurting him so much. Sort of.
2. Sweet Child O' Mine - Guns n' Roses
She's got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky
I WAS OPEN-MOUTHED IN HORROR WHEN THIS SONG CAME UP but I actually like the result a fair bit. I think if I had more time to think about it, using Val for this would never had crossed my mind, but this was a crunch and it worked XD
3. New York Battle Move - DJ Lobsterdust
Everyone move now, take some action,
Make some action, take some action
Life is short now, that's why we're askin'
Revolution, got to happen
This song is all about SPEED and MOVES. I don't think I was able to get much snappiness into the actual story, but it's a tidy, quick fight before he has to run like a bitch out of there XD I'd love to be able to write tight and fast action like that though, so this is something to work on.
4. Infra Red - Placebo
One last thing before I shuffle off the planet
I will be the one to make you crawl
So I came down to wish you an unhappy birthday
Someone call the ambulance, there’s gonna be an accident
This is intended to be like, three seconds before Metatron is like 'sup bitches'. As much as Asiel would love to die as a macho action hero (sorry, enjoy your consolation prize?)
5. Say It Right Away - DJ Earworm (Nelly Furtado vs. Madonna vs. The Eggs)
I wasn't really familiar with this song, and so I did a quick lyrics look-up, and found the chorus inspiring:

Oh, you could mean everything to me
which is the see-saw these two are on for like, forever. Ended up way jambly though, and I didn't intend to go Quinn POV T_T
6. Cry Little Sister - Aiden
A last fire will rise behind those eyes
Black house will rock, blind boys don't lie
Immortal fear, that voice so clear
Through broken walls, that scream I hear
Dunno just fascinated with the idea of the Fortress burning down, and in head-canon this is the launching point for the all the worst of the future-AU scenarios, particularly Mexico AU.
7. Jezebel - Iron & Wine
Who's seen Jezebel?
Will the mountain last as long as I can wait
Wait like the dawn
How it aches to meet the day
This is one of my favorites of the set. It feels the most complete of them all as well.
8. Happiness in Slavery (remix) - Nine Inch Nails
(Instrumental)
Apparently in the last two fics I just vomited emo. This is one, and if context helps, this is Warren under the imprisonment of Lumiveri. I had figured that eventually, she realizes some of the guilt and unresolved shit Warren has surrounding his mother's death, and creates statues in her likeness to drive him insane. It nearly works.
9. I Don't Trust Myself (With Loving You) - John Mayer
No I'm not the man I used to be lately
See you met me at an interesting time
If my past is any sign of your future
You should be warned before I let you inside
JUST ROLLED WITH THE SONG TITLE ON THIS ONE. Cause no meme anymore seems complete without unhealthy binging and emotional repression.

Emo vomit, though this isn't the first time Mulli has expressed such obvious suicidal leanings. It just makes her motivation that much black and white, I suppose.
